150. Zeller.

Seems appropriate that on the 150th day of the year, I get to welcome my best friend of the last decade, Amy Zeller (heretofore known as friend Amy 2) back to the United States. Just got home from picking her up at the airport. Looking forward to having her here for the next week. I’d share a fun story about our lives, but I’m tired, so that will have to wait for another day.

149. Margs.

Had a margaritas post earlier this year, but the most memorable thing about today was hanging out with friend Juana at a margaritas competition after work. Favorite was definitely the cilantro marg from El Centro, followed by an oyster marg from Art & Soul.

Preda, in town to perform at the Kennedy Center*, worked with me using simple breath support and scale exercises. The differences they made were, for lack of a better phrase, tremendous.

145. Anniversary.

Spent the last seven hours of my fourth anniversary in D.C. at a roof cookout with some awesome friends (the first hours were spent sleeping and doing laundry and baking cookies). Couldn’t have picked a better way to celebrate.

FOUR YEARS, YOU GUYS. Where does the time go?
